U.S. Army Corps of Engineers salutes Haitian Heritage Month by developing a poster, bookmark and screensaver. These new products are being distributed in observance of the 2008 Haitian Heritage Month. The theme – Unity/Ini: The Beauty of Nature – focuses on the natural beauty found in both Haiti and the U.S. The poster, bookmark and screensaver feature the colorful hibiscus, a plant enjoyed in both Haiti and the United States.

You must install the Haitian Heritage Month screensaver on your computer to view. Follow the installation instructions below:

Instructions to install & uninstall on the PC:

To Install:

To download, click on the screensaver link:

  1. PC Haitian Heritage Month a Screensaver (EXE file)
  2. A window will prompt you if you want to open or save.
  3. Click save to desktop
  4. After being downloaded, execute the downloaded file and installation will begin.

To Uninstall:

To delete:

  1. From your desktop, go to My Computer, click on Control Panel
  2. Double click on the Add/Remove Programs icon
  3. Select the USACE-Haitian Heritage Month file
  4. Click on Change/Remove button

  2. Go to Library folder, then ScreenSaver folder.
  3. Select Haitian_Heritage_Month.saver
  4. Drag and drop in Trash.
