Feasibility Study:
Indian River Lagoon - North Feasibility Study
The Indian River Lagoon - North Feasibility Study area extends from Ponce De Leon Inlet in Volusia, through Brevard and Indian River counties, southward to Fort Pierce Inlet in St. Lucie County, and includes the Mosquito Lagoon and Banana River Lagoon. Issues under consideration for this study include improving habitat, improving circulation, improving water quality, developing a sediment strategy, better control of runoff, exotic vegetation removal, and increasing recreational opportunities. The purpose of the workshops is to discuss the problems, opportunities and goals of the study and to seek public input on the study scope and schedule.
