The RECOVER Assessment Team is primarily responsible for measuring the actual performance of implemented projects and interpreting that performance based on the analysis of information obtained from research, monitoring, modeling, or other relevant resources.

Assessment Team
The Assessment Team is composed of a large standing team, five regional module teams, and several standing sub-teams.

The Integrative Assessment Team is the sub-team of the AT responsible for developing guidance on conducting the assessments needed for RECOVER’s annual system assessment reports. This sub-team is also responsible for developing the Assessment portion of the MAP and Guidance Memorandum 6: Assessment Activities for Adaptive Management.
The MAP Implementation Sub-team is primarily responsible for developing and coordinating the sequencing and contracting activities necessary to implement the MAP.
The Remote Sensing Sub-team is responsible for investigating the use of remote sensing technologies as a possible means of conducting MAP monitoring activities like vegetation mapping and water quality analysis.
