CERP Meetings with Public Access

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) are the principal Federal and Non-Federal sponsors for the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP), and other environmental restoration efforts. CERP Regional Project Delivery Team meetings are held in conjunction with the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force's Working Group meetings. The Working Group meetings are the primary forum for agency interaction and public participation in projects of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) and related ecosystem restoration efforts.

This process enhances agency and public participation and improve efficiency for CERP projects. CERP project updates are given around key milestones at the Working Group meetings for discussion with stakeholders as key work products are being developed for Project Implementation Reports or subsequent efforts.
