8.5 Square Mile Area Public Meeting
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, is in the process of developing an interim water control plan for the 8.5 Square Mile Area Project, located in Miami-Dade County. The Corps will host a public meeting to present the draft interim operating criteria and the accompanying draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed operating criteria. An informal workshop, providing the opportunity for one-on-one discussion with staff, is available to interested parties. A presentation on the draft interim operating criteria and the accompanying draft EA will begin promptly at 7 p.m. During the early-evening workshop, multiple information stations will be open and manned by agency personnel, including topic experts. Bilingual (Spanish/English) staff will also be available to assist attendees with translations, as needed. Read the e-notice.
