Florida Keys Tidal Restoration Public Workshop

Members of the public are invited to participate in a public workshop on the Florida Keys Tidal Restoration project sponsored by the South Florida Water Management District and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This workshop will be held to gather public comment on the project, review performance measures that will be used to evaluate alternatives and discuss the site chosen for restoration. The purpose of this project is to restore the tidal connection that was eliminated in the early 1900's by the construction of Flagler's Railroad.
