U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to will hold a Public Meeting Concerning Taylor Creek/Nubbin Slough Preliminary Water Control Plans to present the Draft Water Control Plans of the project and to give all interested individuals, groups and agencies an opportunity to express their views and ask questions. The Corps is proposing to adopt draft water control plans for the Taylor Creek Stormwater Treatment Area Project and the Nubbin Slough STA Project. The goal of both projects is to capture and treat stormwater from the basins. The treated water will eventually flow into Lake Okeechobee and through Taylor Creek and Nubbin Slough. Both plans are now readily available for review on the Internet. |
