The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), Jacksonville District, and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) will a host a public workshop on the draft Monitoring and Assessment Plan for the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP). The draft Monitoring and Assessment Plan (MAP), which was developed by the CERP Restoration Coordination and Verification (RECOVER) team, describes a monitoring program that will measure how well the CERP is meeting its goals and objectives as well as provides a mechanism for the RECOVER program to fulfill its responsibility to design and implement the system-wide monitoring, assessment and data management program needed to support the CERP.
