CERP Project:
Water Preserve Area Conveyance

The purpose of this water preservation area (WPA) is to reduce seepage losses to the east from the Pennsuco Wetlands and southern Water Conservation Area 3B, enhance hydroperiods in the Pennsuco Wetlands, and provide recharge to Miami-Dade County's Northwest Well field. The project includes water control structures and modifications to the Dade-Broward Levee and associated conveyance system located in Miami-Dade County.
