CERP 2006 Report to the Public

CERP Report to PublicCERP 2006 Report to the Public: An Annual Update

A journey is under way to restore the Everglades. This journey includes the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP), the largest environmental restoration program in history. This effort will not only enhance the Everglades and associated lakes, rivers and bays in south Florida, but it will also enhance the quality of life for people and wildlife. CERP is more than just a collection of projects to capture and store water, it is a program that revitalizes south Florida’s natural environment.

This publication is the first in a series of annual reports to the public, and reflects CERP restoration efforts through February 2006.
