Speaker's Bureau
Are you curious about the future of water resources in south Florida? Have you heard something about the Everglades Restoration Plan and wonder what impact the plan to modernize the Central and Southern Florida Project will have on you? Want an orientation to Everglades restoration.
People can request a speaker on various Everglades restoration topics. Many presentations feature a slide or PowerPoint show, with accompanying printed materials. Some speakers are fluent in Spanish, Creole and other languages, and some materials have been translated, too.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the South Florida Water Management District are partners in the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP). We have a Speakers Bureau available for community presentations on the CERP.
Army Corps and Water Management District staff members are available to discuss the two agencies' missions, responsibilities and projects that affect you, your quality of life and Florida's future.
